On Monday June 29 @ 6:02 Engine 5-11-1 was dispatched at the request of chief 5-8 to assist on a combine fire back an extended lane in a wheat field. Upon the arrival of engine 1 the crew assisted 5-8’s crew with overhaul and checking for any possible extension through out the rest of the machinery. Engine 1 put the propack in service to ensure all fire was extinguished. Engine 1 returned to service within the hour.
