On Sunday September 6 @ 16:51 Engine 5-11-1, Engine 5-5-2 & Rescue 5-12 were dispatched to a vehicle accident w/ confirmed entrapment @ 272 north bound & E. Boehms rd. Deputy 5-11 arrived on scene with a serious head on crash involving 2 vehicles w/ one patient trapped. Rescue 5-12 & engine 5-11-1 arrived at 16:57 and immediately went to work stabilizing & extrication of trapped patient. Engine 5-5-2 arrived shortly after and handled the depowering and stabilization of the 2nd vehicle. Extrication was complete @ 17:13 involving roof removal, both passenger side doors removed and the dash pushed.
Patient was then transported to the hospital at which time they passed away due to their injuries.
