With January near the end the company has seen it's fair share of work as well as staying busy with multiple other projects. as of right now the members have put in 328 hours of service on calls only.
so far we have ran 3 working fires in neighbor areas. as well as a few small calls in our first due. the new tanker was put in service and has already ran 2 of those working fires. Engine 5-11-5 was taken permanently out of service, squad 5-11 has been outfitted completely as a brush truck and will be changing it's designation come march 1st. Next on the horizon is station 5-11 will be changing it's station number to Station 60 as per a request from Lancaster county dispatch.
unit designations will be E-60 (engine 5-11-1) Tanker 60 & Brush 60 (squad 5-11)
As always we are looking for more members as firefighters fire police and social/support. feel free to stop by any Tuesday night for an application.
