Chief Todd Topper is stepping down after leading West Willow for 11 years. During this time Chief Topper was either ahead of or instrumental l in the purchases in many things such as New Squad/brush truck equipped with a skid unit in which we received though a grant which he wrote, VRT rescue tools, new portables, new packs, cascade system & R.I.T pack which were received from another grant in which he wrote, several sets of new gear though separate grants, addition and renovation to the current engine room & most recently the purchase of the 2011 Spartan tanker.  Along with all these project Todd continue to raise the expectations in members training and activity. During this span he has had 19 different officers serve under him.  We at the West Willow Fire Company would like to thank him for all his years of service and we look forward to seeing him continue to teach others in the department. (Although it may take some getting used to in that black hat)
